The
village of Vermosh is on the northernmost edge of Albania, just before
the border of Montenegro. An authentic and traditional village, we have
kept our way of life intact for generations. There is no better place
to experience the local customs and traditions of Albanian highlanders.
Our culture has a legacy of hospitality that dates back to when
guesthouses received travelers who braved the mountain passes on foot or
in caravan. We still take pride in the same hospitality today.

The
Albanian Alps are part of the greater mountain range of the Dinaric
alps, whose highest peak reaches 2,694 meters. This pristine
high-altitude landscape is ideal for exploring. There are a number
adventure sports and tours to enjoy in the region, such as trekking,
hiking, walking holidays, rafting trips, and even winter sports such as
snowshoeing. The Albanian Alps are the best-kept secret for nature
lovers from all over the world. Reaching the village of Vermosh To
reach this remote village, take the road from Shkoder to Vermosh. On
your way to Vermosh you will pass through the villages of Tamare and
Lepushe, where everyone will be willing to point you in the right
direction. There is no public transportation after Tamare, so we
reccommend car rental or arranging local transport through
our affiliates in Tirana.
