We suggest that you come to Kerkini by car, although you can come with bus or train too..

From Thessaloniki ( Thessaloniki airport - SKG) you just follow the National Road towards Serres / Boulgaria - Sofia, and after about 80kms you turn left, following the signs to Kerkini. It will take you about 50 minutes (from Thessaloniki) to meet the Lake and then another 20 to arrive at Kerkini, through a very pleasant route next to the Lake bank.
